Vacation To Kuching City (Sarawak, Malaysia)

On 25th Nov 2008 (2 days before our 10th Anniversary), we went to Kuching for short vacation. The kids were so happy to go to Kuching even though it was just 1 hour flight from Miri.

Start our trip with Air Asia...

We stayed in Holiday Inn, Kuching. It is really in the middle of the city and I think our choice was not wrong at all. Food courts, shopping malls and Main Bazaar (handycrafts "heaven") are so near from where we stayed.

Next, we visited the place which should not be missed... The Sarawak Cultural Village, in Santubong area (beside the Santubong Mountain), about 45 mins from Kuching City via coaster/bus. We have lunch once we reached there... really starving.

In the Cultural Village, there are 7 type of the tribes' house (Bidayuh's House, Iban's Long House, Orang Ulu's House, Melanau's House, Malay's House, Penan's Hut, and Chinese's House).
