Our Cross-Stitch....

Our first project on Cross-Stitch.... Family Photo...

Still in progress and not yet finished....

Our Trip from Miri to Kota Kinabalu.....

It's been a few weeks back since the last post on this.

Driving all the way from Miri, Sarawak to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (about 447 km) via Brunei was quite tiring, and that's the longest trip I have driven in my life. That was a really good experience....

Travelling through a lot of checkpoints (about 4 checkpoints), passing thru different country (Brunei), different cultures, and the most important.... strictly no more than B$10 petrol to be filled up for Malaysian cars (started from 1st October 2007).

Anyway, we might be going for another trip from Miri to KK again soon...

** EID UL-FITR / SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDIL FITRI **

Fasting Month is near to the end for this year (1428 Hijr). (The event to watch the early moon of Syawal will be held on 11th October 2007. By calculation of astronomy, the first day of Syawal will be on 13th October 2007.)

We would like to wish to all Muslims around the world "A Happy Eid Ul-Fitr", or "Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri". And we would like to ask for forgiveness, if we have hurt someone while we know each others, "MAAF ZAHIR BATIN".
We hope that Eid Ul-Fitr will be more cheerish than last year.
Hopefully the whole world will be more cheerish from day to day, World Without War....

Hari Raya Eid Fitr is approaching....

It's been 2 weeks, since the last post..

Another week we will be celebrating Eid Fitr, after 1 month of fasting. Our eldest daughter only missed 1 day of fasting, due to sickness. We are glad that she has tried her best.

Our 2nd one, only tried for the 1st week of Ramadhan... but cannot make it. Anyway, she said that she will try to fast next year (she'll turn 6 next year).

This year, we will be celebrating our Eid Fitr (or in Malaysia, we call Aidil Fitri) in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. We will drive all the way from Miri to KK (via Brunei). The trip might take 6 to 8 hours drive (depending on the speed).

We can't wait for the day to come.....

Bye for now...

Fasting Month Comes Again...

When the fasting month approach, we know that we have in Miri more than a year already.
Last year, my eldest daughter missed one day, due to sickness. This year, she said that she'll try to fast a full-month (because she wants to celebrate Hari Raya).

As usual, every month of Ramadhan, there will be a lot of Bazaar every where in Malaysia...

Merdeka... Merdeka...

It is quite a long time I did not update this Blog.
Last 31st August, the whole family celebrated our lovely Malaysia's 50th National Day (Independence Day) in Miri Stadium, Miri, Sarawak. (For info, this year, Miri is the host for the whole Sarawak).

Our lovely daughters (and also ourselves), were very happy to watch the ceremony because they haven't seen any shows like that before. The marchings, the military "dance", the "smoke-bombing", the balloon released to the sky and many more.

At least, though the day was very hot, we were having fun celebrating the Malaysia's 50th National Day.

MERDEKA... MERDEKA... MERDEKA....

Is it hard to be a father to two girls?

Is it hard to be a father to two girls?

Sometimes that question has been asked to me by some of my friends. Hmmm... Is that a tricky question or is that a hard question to be answered?
As for me, it depends on himself, on how to bring them up. Does he want them to be someone that they don't want to be? Or does he just let the girls to be whoever they want to be?
Do they want to be like Britney Spears or Paris Hilton? Or do they like to be like their mother?

How to take care of two daughters / sons?
First of All, show them how to respect the elderly...
Then, show them that you love them so much that you don't want anything bad happens to them.
Don't forget to tell them that you're so strict with them with reasons.
Then they will realise that you did that because you care for them & not for yourself.

First post....At last..

Hello all,
This is our first blog, for those who know us and also to those who want to know us better & to know better about life.

Currently we are in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. We can say that we stay more closer to each other now, after several years hubby was always work in offshore rigs.
The kids are more happier now and less stubborn (because their father is sooo 'garang' or fierce, but surely love them very much).

Anyway, we will post some more about us here later.

Daaaa...
